Architecture
Statement Of Intent:
For this project, I've chosen architecture. I chose this because architecture has a broad catalogue and is everywhere around us, architecture is the construct and design of buildings which is present in the city I live in. This makes capturing the art easier with a variety of forms of architecture I can capture from old to modern.
Research I intend to carry out during this project and based on the theme, is a range of different artists and types of architecture styles and buildings. I want my photo shoots to revolve around this and centred around the beauty of architecture within Manchester which is the city I live in. During this and to help further explore this theme I would like to explore and research the likes of Simon Buckley and Paul Grogan. These two photographers have done their work based on Manchester and resulted in many good photo shoots.
Some techniques I would like to experiment with on Photoshop or photopea are edits such as neon lights or kaleidoscope, both of which I'm comfortable with. Another thing I can do to help improve my final outcomes from shoots is to work on using the zoom feature on a camera to get good close shots of detailing, or using ISO and white balance to help get a nice lighting on a building or angles.
I hope to learn more about architecture and the beauty of the city I live in, through an ability to be able to capture buildings in the best way, through my camera settings or angles or framing, and then to be able to further develop that on Photoshop or photopea, to create a nice outcome i'm happy with. This would help result in my final outcome being clear and crisp shots and buildings with simple yet effective edits, or more complex advanced pieces of work within my final gallery.
